About the Training
The Birth Wellness Coach and Full Spectrum Doula Training prepares you to support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with skill, presence, and trauma informed care.
During this training you will study the foundations of perinatal health, physiological birth, postpartum recovery, mental health, and systems navigation. You will learn practical tools for emotional support, physical comfort measures, client education, and professional documentation.
When you complete the program you will hold certification as a Birth Wellness Coach, Full Spectrum Doula, and Perinatal Community Health Worker.
This training provides the professional foundation needed to begin supporting families responsibly and confidently.

Program Start

Course Format
Online coursework combined with live integration and training calls.
Live Calls
Weekly live sessions on Monday and Thursday where we review course material, answer questions, and practice applying what you are learning.
In Person Skills Workshop
May 16 and May 17
This two day intensive focuses on hands on comfort measures, labor support techniques, postpartum recovery support, and practical skills for supporting families during birth and early postpartum.
A Workforce Pathway for Birth Workers
This training is part of a workforce development partnership with ApprenticeshipNH to help expand the perinatal workforce in New Hampshire.
Holistic Birth Pros and Inspired Birth Academy are working with the state apprenticeship program to develop a Birth Wellness Coach and Perinatal Community Health Worker workforce pathway.
Students who complete this training may be eligible to apply for the Birth Wellness Coach Registered Apprenticeship, where apprentices receive structured mentorship, hands on experience supporting families, and competency based evaluation as they develop their professional skills.
